C2C is a consultancy group dedicated to providing organisations with impartial advice and guidance on developing a Unified Communications (UC) strategy. C2C uses its experience of more than 15 years in the industry, and in-depth knowledge of the vendors, manufacturers and service providers to provide organisations with a clear and concise roadmap for UC. C2C's expertise and knowledge across unified communications is broad and extensive.
We believe that our impartial consultancy service removes all vendor agenda's and helps clients structure a UC strategy that meets the organisations objectives regardless of what brand of equipment will be used to deliver the final solution. In our experience the most effective solution is quite often a mixed vendor solution the interoperates and focuses on the client objectives rather than that of the vendor.

Dean Howarth worked for a systems integrator for approximately 12 years predominantly dealing with large AV integration projects and audio/web conferencing services. Dean moved to Polycom in 2004. Initially, Dean was responsible for developing a relationship between Polycom and Telstra (Australia) and growing Polycom's video conferencing equipment distribution in Australia and New Zealand. While at Polycom and as a result of the growing VoIP market, Dean moved his focus to voice broadening his UC knowledge and became the Director of Voice Products for ANZ. Dean also worked briefly in Asia restructuring Polycom's channel program and distribution in SE Asia, which involved engaging with various service providers throughout the region.

Eva Shafer started her career in marketing and program management working for Sprint Video Group, the first service provider to offer hosted ISDN based video conferencing services in the United States. After Sprint, Eva joined Accord Networks (acquired by Polycom) as a product manager and was responsible for the product launch and requirements of the MGC product line (Polycom's multipoint control unit, MCU and networking devices). Eva performed this role in the US and Asia Pacific working with end users, service providers and systems integrators in both regions. Following this role, Eva moved to Australia to work for Verizon Business as a product marketing manager focusing on VoIP. In 2006, Eva started C2C Analysis and has recently provided impartial consultancy for various organizations including NSW Department of Education and Training.

Jean-Francois Poulain (Europe)
|
Jean-Francois Poulain (JFP), based in both Hong Kong and Paris, has a unique combined experience of working in the Asia Pacific/European market and he has over 13 years of experience in the Unified Communications industry. JFP has provided high level strategic consultancy to European, Japanese and Chinese vendors as well as systems integrators in all three markets.
In addition to consultancy, JFP worked at Polycom. His last position at Polycom was Vice President and Managing Director of Polycom Asia-Pacific (the most competitive market worldwide). He joined Polycom in 1999 to head up the sales operations in EMEA and was promoted to Vice President of Sales EMEA in 2002. JFP became a member of the Polycom International board the same year. Previously, JFP was the Managing Director for Picturetel Corporation in France where he initiated the first indirect sales team for the UC industry.

Jebb Dykstra (USA)

Jebb Dykstra brings over twenty two (22) years of experience with him, ranging from software, Internet, telecommunications and the law. Mr. Dykstra has worked with and mentored over 50+ start-up and early stage companies over the last twelve years. As an entrepreneur, he has been a part of four VC-backed companies, including funding by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Samsung VC and Southridge Capital. Mr. Dykstra has also structured numerous angel, venture capital and technology transactions as a corporate attorney. His companies and clients have developed products or services in the following markets – DRM/conditional access software, content security, XBRL, XML, web CMS, Mash Up, Web 2.0/Web 3.0 applications, VOIP, browser-based unified communications and video conferencing, fiber optics, digital cinema, hardware, iTV and web services. Mr. Dykstra has close relationships with many of the cable operators, both satellite operators and the telecommunications operators. |

Stephen Von Rump
(USA)

Stephen was most recently CEO of Be Here Corporation, which developed a collaboration videophone for use in VoIP-converged networks. In 2002-2003 he was CEO of Metreos, which provided a VoIP applications server and development platform for convergence services in the enterprise. From 1998-2001 he was CEO of VTEL, a videoconferencing product and services provider that offered one of the first commercial IP-based systems. He was also the vice president and one of the founders of internetMCI, then the largest commercial Internet backbone in the world. Stephen has extensive consulting experience in enterprise convergence and collaboration strategy and planning, for both U.S. and international companies. |
